Who guides you
Meet the mentors behind the certification
Francisco Palao is a recognized entrepreneur, speaker, and international advisor in innovation and corporate evolution. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (University of Granada), an Executive MBA (IE Business School), and is a Singularity University graduate (NASA Ames, Silicon Valley). He advises leading organizations across industries—including Visa, Black & Decker, Banco Santander, MAPFRE, and HP—and has also supported governments and public administrations such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Andorra.
He is the author of Exponential Transformation and, more recently, Massive Transformative Purpose and Positive Impact, and the creator of the Business Evolution® framework. Today, he leads Evolution Alliance, a global organization focused on helping organizations evolve for positive impact through AI and other exponential technologies, and is a founding partner in AI-based companies such as Oculomex (preventive medicine).
Francisco has launched and led multiple global companies and startups since his first digital venture at 19 (acquired three years later). After completing his PhD in 2005, he launched the University of Granada’s first AI-focused spin-off, and later founded Lean Monitor (acquired by Gust.com in 2014). More recently, he co-founded and served as CEO of OpenExO and ExO Works, delivering corporate transformation projects worldwide. He has received multiple international awards, including MIT’s TR35 recognition.
Jose Tam is a senior digital transformation leader who helps organizations turn technology, innovation, and AI into real operational progress.
With extensive experience in enterprise-scale transformation — including executive responsibility as Digital Transformation Vice President at Softtek — Jose brings a practical lens to one of the biggest challenges in organizations today: moving from strategy and frameworks to execution, adoption, and measurable results.
His work focuses on the point where many transformation efforts get stuck: translating good ideas into shared habits, aligned teams, and consistent progress inside complex organizations.
As a mentor and partner in the Business Evolution® Mentor Certification, Jose brings an execution-first perspective to the program. He will help participants build the mentoring capabilities needed to guide teams from ideas to action, apply Business Evolution® in real organizational contexts, and turn innovation and AI initiatives into tangible next steps.
Oliver Morbach is a Business Evolution® Mentor focused on helping leaders and teams turn innovation and AI initiatives into real business progress.
He brings a practical perspective to one of the biggest challenges in organizations today: moving beyond promising ideas, isolated pilots, and innovation theatre toward initiatives that create measurable impact.
Oliver’s work is built around two convictions. First, teams need clarity, cadence, and validated next steps to move forward. Second, initiatives only scale when leaders create the right conditions around them — the Innovation Habitat.
As a mentor and partner in the Business Evolution® Mentor Certification, Oliver helps participants build the mentoring capabilities to support teams in uncertainty, unblock initiatives, and guide them from definition to action to create real results.

Mentor is about building the capability to guide others through real initiative work. By the end of the program, you will be able to mentor teams and leaders with a repeatable logic: diagnose what’s happening, converge on decisions, and define next steps that can be executed in real environments.
